Who it's for

Academies that develop athletes, not just fill slots.

If your business is a facility with coaching attached, a booking system is enough. If your business is what happens to the athlete over a season, you need the booking and the development on the same record. Plinth is for the second kind.

Cricket academies

Where Plinth was built.

Plinth runs three cricket centres every day, so the cricket case is not a persona — it is the product. Lanes and bowling machines as resources. Batting, bowling and keeping as streams. Squads by age and level. Weekly ratings with a highlight and a focus. Match performance from the competition platform beside the training record.

  • Lanes and machines

Lane and bowling-machine bookings by the hour, multi-lane sessions, coach add-ons and opening hours per centre.

  • Streams and squads

Ratings by batting, bowling or keeping. Squads from junior to senior high-performance, with programs targeted at each.

  • Competition data

Fixtures, ladders and per-match performance imported from competition platforms and the academy's own league.

  • Two countries

Australian centres in AUD with GST, an Indian centre in INR under GST — one system, one login for the director.

Indoor sports facilities

Courts, lanes, bays and rooms, with coaches attached.

A facility that also coaches — futsal courts with a Saturday academy, a golf-simulator bay with a pro, a tennis centre with squads — usually runs its resources on one system and its coaching on paper. Plinth treats a court like a lane: a resource with hours, bookable with or without a coach, that writes to the athlete's record when a session is attended.

  • Any bookable resource

Courts, lanes, bays, rooms and machines with their own opening hours and pricing.

  • Casual and member

Casual bookings by card alongside direct-debit memberships, credit wallets and passes.

  • Programs and camps

Holiday programs and term programs sold as packs, rolled before day one.

  • Development, when you are ready

The pathway is there on the same record for the day the facility becomes an academy.

Multi-sport academies

Several sports, one family, one record per athlete.

A family with one child in cricket and another in tennis wants one account, one membership statement and one app. Plinth's account model is built that way — a family account, any number of players, consent per person — and the development record is per athlete, whatever they play.

  • One family account

Any number of players under one login, one payment method, one statement.

  • Per-athlete pathway

Each athlete has their own profile, assessment, ratings and programs.

  • Sport-specific streams

Plinth's rating streams are cricket-shaped today. Making them configurable per sport is what early access with multi-sport academies is for.

Is it a fit?

Plinth is the right call when…

  • You develop athletes over seasons, not sessions.

You assess, you plan, you report to parents, and you would like the evidence in one place.

  • You run, or will run, more than one centre.

Per-centre timezone, currency, tax and reporting are built in, not bolted on.

  • You are tired of two systems.

A booking platform plus a development spreadsheet, or two platforms that do not talk.

  • You want a say in what gets built.

Early access is small and the people answering your email are the people writing the code.

And when it is not

We would rather say so now.

Plinth is not the right fit for a gym, a yoga studio or a fitness chain — the market serves them well and we have no athlete pathway to offer them. It is not for professional clubs or institutes with a sports-science department — the performance platforms built for them go deeper than we do on load and medical. And it is not yet for a sport whose development model is far from cricket's, unless you want to help shape that.

Early access

Early access is opening.

Plinth is in daily use at three centres and is opening to a small number of academies next. Tell us about yours.
