Account deletion

This page explains how to delete a Plinth account. It is reachable without the app, as Google Play and Apple require, and it applies to every academy that runs on Plinth, including Elite Cricket Academy.

Delete from inside the app

1. Sign in to your academy’s Plinth app.
2. Open More → Account settings.
3. Choose Delete my account and confirm.

Your request is recorded immediately. There is a short grace period — normally seven days — during which you can sign back in and cancel the deletion. After that, your personal data is erased.

Delete by email

If you can no longer sign in, or you would rather not, send an email to hello@watzaura.com from the address on the account with the subject line Delete my Plinth account. Tell us the academy you belong to. We will confirm the request with you and then process it the same way. If you know which academy holds your record, you can also write to them directly — they control it and can action the request.

What is deleted

• Your login and account
• Names, contact details, dates of birth and emergency contacts for you and any players on the account
• Consent records, coaching notes, ratings, assessments, training diary entries, and medical information
• Photographs and videos held against the players on the account
• Push notification registrations for your devices

What is kept, and why

Australian and Indian tax law require businesses to keep records of sales for a number of years. Bookings, payments and invoices are therefore retained, with the names and contact details removed, so that they can no longer identify you. Aggregate figures — for example, that a session had eight attendees — are also kept, because they are not personal information once the names are gone.
