Watzaura

Founding customer

Built inside a working academy, not a boardroom.

Plinth runs Elite Cricket Academy — three centres across Australia and India, every booking, every payment, every player record. Elite is founded and owned by Watzaura's founder, which is exactly why Plinth exists: we built the system we could not buy.

Elite is our own academy. We are telling you that up front.

Elite Cricket Academy and Watzaura Infotech share a founder. Elite is not an arm's-length customer and we will not present it as one — no logo wall, no quote attributed to a delighted client. What Elite is, is the place Plinth was built, broken, fixed and run in anger for real families and real money. That is a better story than a testimonial, and it happens to be true.

Three centres

Where Plinth runs every day.

  • Victoria, Australia

    Hoppers Crossing

Indoor cricket centre in Melbourne's west. Lanes and bowling machines, one-to-one and group coaching, junior and senior squads, holiday programs.

  • Victoria, Australia

    Pakenham

Indoor cricket centre in Melbourne's south-east. Ran on Momence before Plinth; memberships and bookings were migrated across.

  • Tamil Nadu, India

    Medavakkam, Chennai

Coaching centre in Chennai. Same system, second currency, second tax regime, second payment rail — the reason Plinth is multi-entity from the ground up.

Photography

Photographs only with consent on file.

Photographs of the three centres — real nets, real lanes, real equipment — are being gathered for this page. Because these are academies full of children, we publish an image showing an identifiable minor only with a guardian's signed media consent on file. Until then this page carries no photographs at all, rather than stock or generated ones.

Why we built it

We ran on the software everyone recommends. It did not know what a player was.

Elite ran on Momence — a capable studio platform — and on spreadsheets, group chats and a coach's memory for everything the platform could not hold. Bookings and memberships were fine. The question a parent actually asks, what has my child worked on and are they getting better, had no home. We looked at athlete-performance platforms and found systems priced for professional clubs that would not take a booking. So we built the middle.

We ran on the software everyone recommends. It did not know what a player was. So we built the system we could not buy.

What running it proves

Not a demo. A business.

  • Real money on real rails

Direct-debit memberships, card payments through Stripe in Australia and Razorpay in India, tax invoices under an ABN and a GSTIN, credits settled against sessions actually delivered.

  • Real families, real consent

Children's records under parents' accounts, consent recorded per person, media consent enforced before a photo is taken, medical notes handled as sensitive data.

  • Real coaches, real ratings

Coaches assigned to athletes, weekly ratings by stream with a highlight and a focus, programs published from a shared library, digests sent on a schedule.

  • Real migration

Customers, memberships and paid bookings moved off Momence into Plinth, which is why the Switch page describes something we have actually done.
